Job Title: IT Project & Budget Coordinator (Part-Time, Contract)
Location: Central London (On-site)
Commitment: 2 days per week (flexible on days)
Contract Length: Minimum 6 months
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented IT professional to support ongoing technology change and budget management efforts for an established IT Managed Service Provider delivering outsourced IT support, infrastructure management, and technology solutions to a diverse range of clients.
This is a part-time, contract-based role ideal for someone with strong operational focus and experience in IT project environments, particularly in managing budgets and contributing to change processes. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders but will primarily operate in a support and execution capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support IT change (project) management processes, ensuring critical details are tracked, acted upon, and reported accurately
- Maintain and manage IT budgets up to £2 million annually, with precision and accountability
- Participate in board-level IT discussions, providing informed input and updates (this is a contributor role, not a decision-making role)
- Collaborate with senior colleagues to ensure accuracy and alignment, particularly in areas requiring executive oversight
- Track, document, and follow up on IT-related tasks and actions, especially within change initiatives
Requirements:
This role does not require a senior executive. We're looking for someone hands-on, reliable, and detail-driven, who can stay on top of critical processes without needing to lead them. You'll be valued for your diligence, precision, and ability to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in IT change/project management, with proven attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience managing IT budgets up to £2m/year
- Comfortable engaging in high-level discussions about IT matters, with the maturity to operate in a support-focused, non-executive role
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently within defined responsibilities
- Based in or able to regularly commute to Central London
