Application Security Analyst - Leeds (2 days a week in office)
An Application Security Analyst with excellent AWS experience is required to join a pharmaceutical company in Leeds. The Application Security Analyst will conduct secure coding practices, and vulnerability management. They will also play a key role in identifying risks, strengthening the companies security infrastructure, and guiding teams to build software that's secure by design.
Skills Required
- 3+ years Info Security experience working in an AWS Environment
- Previous application testing experience securing coding practices and vulnerability / penetration testing using guidelines such as OWASP Top 10.
- Good experience delivering security policies and procedures (ISO27001, CSA, NIST, GDPR etc.)
- Excellent stakeholder management experience and collaborating with other teams in the IT department (IT Support, Cloud and Software Development)
- Security certification such as CISSP, CISM, Comptia Security+
You will be able to work from home 3 times a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement security practices through the SDLC including secure coding, threat modelling and vulnerability/penetration testing.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce security policies and procedures for all teams in the IT Department (ISO27001, NIST)
- Develop and implement policies for secure AI adoption and usage
- Research new security trends and patterns and evaluate new security technologies to implement in the future.
- Providing ongoing security training for junior security analysts.
