A fast-growing technology consultancy is seeking a Senior Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer to support a mix of cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments. This role suits someone with strong 2nd/3rd line experience who thrives in varied technical environments and enjoys contributing to service improvement and cloud transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Act as an escalation point for complex infrastructure and cloud issues
Support, maintain, and troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Azure, and hybrid AD environments
Configure and manage Intune, conditional access, device policies, and cloud security baselines
Deliver on-site support, installs, and project work across servers, networks, and cloud platforms
Maintain and improve on-prem infrastructure including Windows Server, Hyper-V/VMware, networking, and firewalls
Assist with cloud migrations, tenant builds, modern workplace rollouts, and environment hardening
Carry out daily checks across backups, monitoring tools, and cloud services
Contribute to documentation, process improvements, and service desk evolution
Liaise with vendors and third-party service providers
About You
5+ years' experience across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem IT environments
Strong background in Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, GPOs
Skilled in Azure AD, M365, Intune, and multi-tenant management
Confident with Hyper-V/VMware, VLANs, VPNs, and firewall technologies
Strong communicator with excellent customer service skills
Full UK driving licence
