Manchester or Newcastle
We are seeking a Business Analyst for our Government client based in either Manchester or Newcastle. This role will be office based 3 days per week and the remainder remote. The Business Analyst role will be an initial 12 month contract, paying between £500 - £600/Day Inside IR35.
This role is inside IR35 - Due to the service of the role it will now be based on an Umbrella solution.
Role Profile:
- The role will be on a strategy team, working closely with product managers, product strategists, solution architects, and other business analysts
- Working within a transformational multi-disciplinary team utilising agile methodologies
- Translate business problems and user needs into a set of detailed requirements to deliver value and great outcomes for our users
- Lead workshops, interviews, focus groups and utilise other techniques to effectively understand the business problems and user needs
- Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships, communicating effectively across both technical and business stakeholders and ensuring the understanding of requirements and acceptance criteria is aligned
- Gain a good understanding of the business processes and activities that impact and that are impacted by the product or service.
- Selecting the appropriate best practice techniques to model business processes, in order to identify potential process improvements
- Experience of working as a Business Analyst within digital/ technology
- Experienced in analysing and refining user and stakeholder requirements
- Experienced in identifying and building strong relationships with stakeholders
- Experienced in using a wide range of analysis techniques to understand the problem
- Able to identify improvements and make recommendations
- Experience of working on changes end to end from inception to delivery
- Experience of engaging and influencing senior stakeholders and actively contributing to strategic discussions at senior level.
