User Access Analyst - Manchester / Hybrid

A brand-new role to join a very well-established brand has become available due to an internal promotion. We are looking for a User Access Analyst who will be responsible for managing user access to various systems, applications, and resources within the group.

Your primary role involves ensuring that users have the appropriate level of access to perform their job duties effectively throughout their career journey, while also maintaining security and compliance standards.

You'll have a crucial part to play in assisting them in delivering an effortless customer journey and in consistently exceeding their expectations. Your duties will include ensuring prompt handling of all requests in alignment with their SLA and KPIs.

As a User Access Analyst you will be responsible for:

  1. User provisioning: Creating, modifying, and deleting user accounts based on organisational policies and procedures.
  2. Access control: Managing permissions and privileges for different user roles to ensure that users only have access to the resources necessary for their job responsibilities.
  3. User authentication: Implementing and maintaining authentication mechanisms such as passwords, multi-factor authentication, and single sign-on.
  4. Access reviews: Regularly reviewing user access rights to identify and address any discrepancies or violations of security policies.
  5. Compliance monitoring: Ensuring that user access practices align with industry regulations and internal compliance standards.
  6. Troubleshooting access issues: Resolving access-related problems reported by users and providing technical support as needed.
  7. Documentation and reporting: Maintaining records of user access permissions, access requests, and access-related incidents for auditing and reporting purposes.
  8. Training and awareness: Educating users on access management best practices and security protocols to promote a culture of security awareness within the organization.

What we're looking for

We are looking for an individual who can pick up new processes and software applications quickly, perhaps you have worked in a similar role, or you have worked for a software house or software provider in a demonstration role or troubleshooting role before.

Full training is on offer, and the position offers hybrid working of 3 office days and 2 WFH.
