We are seeking a Strategic Supplier Manager & Contract Lead for our Government client on a mainly remote basis but with ad hoc travel - Possibly twice a month to central London / Croydon / Manchester.
The Strategic Supplier Manager role will be an initial 12 month contract paying between £550 - £650/Day Inside IR35.
This role is inside IR35 - Due to the service of the role it will now be based on an Umbrella solution.

Role Profile:
- Lead relationships with strategic suppliers and delivery partners
- Drive supplier performance, value and innovation
- Shape supplier strategies, intelligence and stakeholder engagement
- Provide expert commercial and contract management advice
- Build and enhance contract management capability across the organisation
- Establish assurance frameworks that strengthen contract oversight
- Represent the organisation in strategic supplier and stakeholder engagements
- Promote best practice and continuous improvement in supplier management
- Strategic Supplier Relationship Management (SSRM)
- Professional Services category management
- Contract management & supplier governance
- Public sector procurement (PA23)
- Government contract management experience
- Strong stakeholder engagement & influencing
- Commercially astute with strong analytical skills
- Project delivery in fast-paced environments
- Proven leadership & collaboration skills
- eProcurement systems expertise
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-starter with a delivery-focused mindset
