Role: IT Services Support Manager
Salary: Up to £47,000 per annum (DOE)
Location: Hybrid - Hampshire (2-3 days per week on-site + on-call rota)

We're looking for an experienced IT Services Support Manager to play a key leadership role in delivering secure, resilient, and high-performing IT services across a large organisation.

This position combines technical leadership, service delivery, and strategic planning, making it ideal for a senior IT professional who can shape architecture, drive standards, and lead continuous improvement across infrastructure, systems, and cloud platforms.

You'll work in a hybrid model, typically 2-3 days per week across office and site locations in Hampshire, with the remainder remote, and participation in an on-call rota.

This is a full-time, permanent position, offering up to £47,000 per annum depending on experience. Applicants must live within a commutable distance of Hampshire and have full UK right to work.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience within an ICT support and service delivery environment
  • Strong understanding of IT governance, change management, and frameworks such as ITIL v4
  • Solid knowledge of system integration principles and software testing approaches
  • Strong technical background across enterprise infrastructure, architecture, and networks
  • Experience translating business needs into clear ICT strategies, roadmaps, and delivery plans
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to high-quality service delivery
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
  • Experience managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and partners
  • Knowledge of data security principles and relevant legislation
  • High attention to detail, particularly when working with systems and data
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
  • Flexible approach to supporting operational requirements
  • High integrity and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and support the delivery of ICT services across the organisation
  • Line manage senior technical specialists and systems teams
  • Plan and manage software testing, upgrades, and deployments in line with ITIL and change policies
  • Lead system and application rollouts, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
  • Maintain and improve support documentation to ensure accuracy and usability
  • Act as a key technical liaison for suppliers, ensuring alignment with strategic roadmaps
  • Provide technical leadership on integrations with third-party systems and platforms
  • Deliver expert guidance to users at all levels, adapting communication appropriately
  • Balance operational support and project delivery workloads effectively
  • Ensure high data quality through analysis, validation, and system oversight
  • Drive continuous improvements in system performance, resilience, and security
