We are seeking a Communications Officer for our Government client based in West Burton. This role will be office based 3 days per week and the remainder remote. The Communications Officer role will be an initial contract until 31/03 paying between £300 - £350/Day Inside IR35.
This role is inside IR35 - Due to the service of the role it will now be based on an Umbrella solution.
Successful candidate must have a valid UK driving licence
Role Profile:
- Degree qualification with additional demonstrable experience working within a comms team and leading on key projects
* Experience of organising community and/or stakeholder events
* Demonstrable experience of working in complex, matrixed, programmatic environments
* Proficiency with content management systems (CMS), social media platforms, and analytics tools.
* Demonstrable understanding of government structures and the role national, regional, and local government play in a project
* Proven relationship builder with stakeholders at all levels
* Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
* Ability to act as an ambassador for the programme
* Creative and innovative thinker
* Must have a valid UK driving licence
* CIPR qualified, or other relevant communications qualifications
* Previous experience of working on significant infrastructure projects
* Experience of working on Development Consent Orders.
* Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing software and the ability to produce high quality output - Resource a more of a Officer level , someone who can facilitate a quick turnaround on content and practical skills to manage their digital channels and engage with their audiences
- The role is predominantly a social media and events officer
