I'm working alongside a well-established IT Services Company, looking for a skilled IT Engineer to help out with final escalation support, while also delivering projects for their wide client base in the North West. The role has come about after one of their current Senior Engineers, who has been with the company for 10 years, has started his new chapter elsewhere. They left on great terms and is still considered as "part of the family". You can expect no two days to be the same, so if you want a role whereby you'll be restricted to few technologies, then this one isn't for you.
Please note the Senior IT Engineer will need to have a car and clean licence for travel (45p per mile will be reimbursed for travel to client sites or access to the company pool car)
As one of the Senior Support Engineers, you will act as the escalation point for the 1st and 2nd line teams, while working closely with the MD to deliver on IT Projects. Ideally you'll have experience working in the MSP environment, but don't worry if you haven't, I'm still keen to see what you've got!
Great exposure to the Windows servers (12/16/19), Microsoft Office 365, Azure Cloud, Remote Desktop Solutions, and networking experience (Firewalls, Switches Routers etc) will be an essential, with it being desirable for you to have some MS SQL experience but not essential.
