About The Position:

Circle is currently working with a client with an exciting opportunity for PHP developers to join a leading educational technology company, dedicated to crafting bespoke e-learning solutions for higher education worldwide. Collaborate on innovative Moodle and Totara platforms, contribute to a team committed to empowering educators and learners, and thrive in a dynamic, global setting.

Your Responsibilities:

As a PHP Developer, you will play a crucial role in a variety of projects spanning Higher Education and non-profit sectors. Your duties will involve enhancing educational platforms, crafting custom plugins, and participating in system migrations and platform updates. Within the SRE division, you'll offer essential support services, including client interactions, issue resolution, and performance optimisation, to elevate site reliability and functionality.

Technical Proficiencies:

* PHP

* Familiarity with JavaScript and Linux environments

* Experience with Moodle, Mahara, Drupal, and Totara platforms (preferred)

* Knowledge of container orchestration, AWS, Docker, etc. (advantageous)

* Proficiency with Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, or similar tools

* Familiarity with PostgreSQL and MySQL databases.
