Cyber Test Pre-Sales Consultant - £65k base salary + OTE - Remote Working (UK Wide)
Are you a highly skilled IT security professional with a passion for pre-sales engineering? I'm a very experience cyber recruiter seeking a top-tier Penetration Test Pre-Sales Consultant to join a great cyber team. This role is perfect for an experienced pentester or someone with a strong background in infrastructure, network, or application security, ready to take on a client-facing position and drive project definition and scoping activities.
Your expertise in managing or procuring pentest services will be invaluable as you assist our client in maximizing the value of their penetration testing efforts. This is a unique opportunity to enhance their testing capabilities, aligning them with clients organizational goals and increasing overall effectiveness, value and outcomes. Some of the day to day will be creating statements of work, proposals, bid documentation, designing project roadmaps etc
As a remote role, you will enjoy the flexibility of working from anywhere in the UK. Although client visits are rare, occasional travel may be required, making a driving license advantageous. Key Skills and Experience:
- Strong background in penetration testing or hands-on experience in infrastructure, cloud, or security technology
- Familiarity with scoping and defining cyber services, particularly penetration tests and offensive consulting
- Knowledge of modern security frameworks, especially as applied to cloud environments
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- A genuine desire to enhance businesses' security posture
