Onsite IT School Support Technician - Liverpool

An expanding provider of technology services is seeking Onsite IT School Support Technicians who can operate in designated schools within the Merseyside region. Proficiency in maintaining and resolving issues related to IT systems and networks, specifically Windows 10, Office 365, and Cisco networking technologies, is necessary for the job.
The prospective Onsite IT School Support Technician must undergo a DBS check before being allowed to work in various school locations. In addition, to qualify for the position, the applicant should have a working knowledge of Windows operating systems in a local area network setting.
Key Skills the Onsite IT School Support Technician will have:
- Ability to explain technical terms and situations to non-technical people
- Software backups and licences
- Windows Operating Systems - 10/8/7
- Proficient with Active Directory and Office365
- Anti-virus tools
- Any knowledge/experience working on LGFL systems is a bonus
- Experience of maintaining and working with WAN connection
- Full UK clean driving license
- Cisco networking technologies - switches, routers
You will be responsible for providing Onsite IT support for multiple schools, with the school you are assigned being your main place of work. The schedule of this position will also vary, so the Onsite IT School Support Technician can expect to visit up to 4/5 schools a week. The other day you will have the opportunity to shadow 3rd line engineers and learn new technologies.
