IT Service Management Analyst - Managed Cyber Security Services
Location: United Kingdom (Remote) - £40k-£50k+benefits and bonuses
An excellent role for someone looking to step into a briliant Cyber business as an IT Service Management (ITSM) Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement of our customer's IT service management processes and tools. Collaborating across departments, you'll help deliver top-notch IT services aligned with business goals and user expectations. Your role will be instrumental in driving operational excellence, minimizing service disruptions, and enhancing the overall user experience.
Key Responsibilities
Service Process Enhancement
- Design, implement, and maintain ITSM processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.
Data-Driven Insights
- Analyse data and metrics extracted from ITSM tools to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas requiring attention or enhancement.
Continuous Process Improvement
- Regularly evaluate and enhance ITSM processes to ensure their efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with evolving business requirements.
Tool Proficiency
- Configure and manage ITSM software tools for optimal performance. Conduct user training and maintain data accuracy within these tools.
Informative Reporting
- Generate periodic reports offering insights into IT service performance. Provide recommendations for improvement based on gathered data.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Engage with IT and business stakeholders to collect feedback on ITSM processes and adapt to evolving service needs.
Documentation and Training
- Develop, maintain, and ensure adherence to ITSM process documentation and standard operating procedures. Conduct training sessions on ITSM best practices, procedures, and tools for IT staff and other stakeholders.
Audit and Compliance
- Ensure ITSM processes align with organizational policies, standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.
You'll ideally already have;
- ITSM Proficiency: In-depth understanding of IT service management principles, best practices, and processes.
- Tool Familiarity: Basic knowledge of popular ITSM tools.
- Data Analysis: Ability to analyse basic datasets and identify key trends.
- Documentation Skills: Proficient in documenting processes and creating standard operating procedures.
- Technical Foundation: A foundational understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, and services.
- Effective Communication: Ability to translate technical concepts into easily understandable language for diverse stakeholders.
Desirable Qualifications
- Advanced Tool Expertise: Hands-on experience configuring and optimizing ITSM tools.
- Advanced Data Analytics: Proficiency in analysing large datasets using advanced tools, extracting actionable insights, and visualizing data.
- Project Management: Proven project management skills, managing multiple projects concurrently and delivering within established timelines.
- Training Proficiency: Experience developing training materials and conducting sessions for diverse audiences.
- Audit and Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with IT standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements relevant to ITSM.
- Continuous Improvement: Track record of initiating and implementing process improvements within an ITSM context.
