Role Overview: As a Service Desk Team Lead, you'll lead a team of dedicated professionals in solving technical challenges and fostering a culture of growth. Your role extends beyond traditional leadership, as you'll actively engage in 3rd line technical situations, ensuring a seamless integration of Microsoft technologies such as O365, Azure, Powershell, MS Intune, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement IT Service Management processes (incident management, problem management, change management, service level management).
  • Document, review, and update IT service management processes to meet evolving business needs.
  • Contribute to the development of IT strategy and design.
  • Coach and manage Engineers, ensuring team members are fully trained and certified in ITIL.
  • Undertake ad-hoc projects and other activities as required.
  • Assist with onboarding new customers and ensure effective project completion.
  • Contribute to the creation of new technology-related policies as needed.
  • Stay updated on the latest technology trends.

Technical Skills:

  • Microsoft O365/M365 administration and troubleshooting.
  • Azure proficiency.
  • Powershell scripting.
  • MS Intune and Device Management expertise.
  • Basic knowledge/experience of hardware break-fix and purchasing.

Management and Leadership Skills:

  • Conduct 1-2-1s and performance evaluations.
  • Capacity planning for sickness, annual leave, and project resourcing.
  • Ensure SLAs and other deliverables are consistently met.
