I'm working with a well-established Law Firm, with a few sites across the country, looking to bring in a new and assertive IT Manager. With the companies upcoming plans, we are looking for someone to drive the IT Department and bring new ideas to the Partners… they're all ears. How often do you get such freedom and influence? When speaking to one of the Partners, she was boasting that there is plenty of opportunity for career progression. Just one example of this is the Finance Assistant working her way up to an Equity Partner… Insane!

The IT team currently consists of one support engineer, but they are hoping for the new IT Manager to help with the future recruitment to the team. As well as this, you will be ensuring end user service is timely and accurate, establishing best practices throughout the whole support process and helping to provide 1st line support for the internal IT infrastructure.

We are looking for someone with previous Legal experience, or at the least someone who has worked in the professional services, with a genuine interest in all things IT. The firm is going to look to you for new ideas to streamline processes and to hear about new software and best solutions. Some of the technical experience we are looking for is Office 365, deploying anti-virus software, Windows OS and some basic networking (TCP, DNS, DHCP). Further experiences with licencing management, maintaining and logging detected issues and ensuring security upgrades are applied is also desired.
