Data Architect - Cloud - UK Wide
Data Architect with experience in data modeling, data integration, and data within the cloud AWS or Azure is required by a leading global consultancy.
Working with some high-profile clients such as the MoD & government, you will be working on some of the most interesting data architecture projects going on at the moment.
They offer remote working when needed with offices all over the UK for when you need to be in the office. There will be the odd visit to the client side, but that will be project dependent.
Experience needed:
- Data Modelling; Data Integration & Processing; Data Storage; Information Consumption - ideally gained across E2E data deliveries.
- Experience in data toolsets and platforms supporting the architectural knowledge above.
- Experience in Cloud (Azure and/or AWS) and On-Prem implementations.
- Any experience around the Microsoft Data stack would be a bonus (SQL, SSIS, SSAS, etc)
- Business Intelligence / Data Engineering experience would be a bonus
- Stakeholder experience, managing Director Level relationships.
- Prior Experience in Defence, Government, or National Infrastructure would be a bonus
In the Data Architect role, you will be given the freedom to establish data agendas with a range of clients at an architecture level. Use your experience, ideas, and perspectives on data and intelligence to implement end-to-end data solutions driving business benefit
- Be a champion for Data Architecture and Data Best Practices both internally in the company and with external clients.
- Drive Data and Intelligence on more junior colleagues, helping them improve.
- Streamline their Data and Intelligence offerings and help to take them to another level for a range of clients they work with
- Be the go-to person, presence, and the face of Data Architecture as whole
My client is looking to pay a starting salary of £65,000-£80,000 + Excellent Pension + Private Healthcare + Flexible Working, including home working
