Data Analyst - SQL - Peterborough

Data Analyst with experience in SQL coding / database coding, data analysis, or a recent graduate in a numerical subject required by a leading company in Peterborough. Any experience with SSAS, Power BI & SAS would be a bonus.

Full training on a wide range of tools will be provided and it is great opportunity to moving into a Data Analyst role with brilliant career progression. For example, the person who heads up this teams started as a graduate analyst 10 years ago, so they do promote from within. They offer hybrid working, 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home

* Experience within data analysis (data matching, interpretation, number crunching) though this can come from your Degree or commercial work experience

* Good database coding experience, such as SQL
* Degree in Mathematics, Statistics or related subject
* Excellent numeracy skills
* Analytical mindset

If you have any experience in Excel, SQL or BI then this would be a bonus. If you have experience in reporting, SQL, T-SQL, data warehouse, SSAS or BI development then this would also be a bonus.

This is a fantastic Data Analyst role that sits within the analysis team. You will play an important role in which you will manipulate data, use business intelligence tools to provide analysis and work with Microstrategy, Power BI, SQL, & SAS daily.

This is a very exciting and diverse role within in a fantastic organisation. You will join a team of 6 analysts to work on a number of exciting analytical projects. You must have excellent analysis ability, be able to come up with ideas and you will be involved in the decision making process. The role will involve being responsible for reviewing and measuring the quality of data received from their data suppliers, using various data quality and reporting tools. Fantastic career progression is available and my client will offer full training.
