Manchester Head Office location

You may have already gathered that the way we operate is more customer-focussed than other recruitment agencies. The way we treat our customers is second only to the way we treat our staff.  Established in 2003, even today after all of our success, Circle’s ethos and culture remains unique.

Recruitment is an industry with a reputation for treating its staff badly.  We believe that this is justified. At Circle, we believe that the most important asset we have is our staff, and our policies reflect this. To new employees, we are nothing less than a complete culture shock, and a breath of fresh air. Recruitment is an enjoyable career and we encourage and allow people to enjoy it. Our staff retention rate is exemplary - in eight years we have never had a successful recruitment consultant choose to leave us and remain in a similar role, and our offer to acceptance ratio, when interviewing recruitment consultants, is over 98%.  Most recruitment consultants receive multiple offers from agencies, and so this ratio is nothing short of staggering.

The reasons that our staff have chosen Circle are, in the most part, due to lifestyle-improvement rather than financial. However, the financial side needs to be considered too. Circle consultants enjoy a commission structure that we have not seen matched elsewhere whether in IT or other sectors.

Why do Circle continue to be the agency of choice?

  • You will be surprised by how relaxed and stress-free our office is. Recruitment doesn't have to be a nightmare job
  • You will not be hit with crazy targets, and stress-inducing cultures such as " you are only as good as your last month"
  • Flexible hours. We operate a 10am-6pm core hour policy, however the office is manned from 8.30am-8.30pm for those that like to work early/late
  • Some of our staff like to go next door to the gym in the mornings before work as it helps prepare them for the day ahead
  • First class internal and external training schedules with the industry’s finest trainers
  • We will not be standing over you monitoring KPIs or how much you canvass. You are a professional, not a sales tool and whilst we train and manage your success with you, we do not “micro manage”
  • Our ongoing expansion allows for management openings for the right people
  • Purposefully designed, stunning open plan offices with beautiful view over Salford Quays waterways and Manchester United beyond
  • Industry leading remuneration packages
  • Freedom to unleash your potential properly (we do not restrict our consultants with geographical/vertical markets)
  • REC accreditation
  • ARC accreditation
  • Circle-subsidised on site car parking for all staff (vastly cheaper than, for example, the city centre)
  • The latest, stunning wireless technology equipment (including laptop and home working facilitation for non-junior staff)
  • We have invested in Cloud Computing technology, meaning your desktop is not on any one machine, but any machine in the world with the internet (even iPhones and iPads) – invaluable for recruitment consultants
  • Circle-expensed mobile phone/Blackberry with generous personal call allowance
  • Dress down Fridays
  • Regular social events
  • Regular (sometimes twice yearly) trips abroad for all staff, not just “those on target”
  • First class restaurants, cafés and sandwich shops nearby (rub shoulders with actors and footballers on your lunch!)
  • Discount on nearby shopping outlets
  • Discount on Manchester's most exclusive gym (Salford Quays Virgin Active, which is next door to our Manchester office)
  • Our staff enjoy membership of Manchester 's most elite private members club, the Circle Club at Barton Square , central Manchester .
  • An outstanding working environment that includes plasma TVs visible to all, with a surround sound music system and daily Playstation and Wii tournaments at lunchtime and after 6pm
  • Outstanding, industry leading commission structure. We operate the below yearly structure. As soon as our Consultants achieve the next band in the structure, whether it takes 1 month or 5, all commission from then on is paid at the next band rate, and so on, rising throughout the year. In the latter months of the year, five figure pay cheques are the norm for many of our staff who regularly perform at £10,000+ billings per month. Do the maths – how much better off would you be at Circle?

There are many other reasons for thorough, professional, and career-driven consultants to join us. These are exciting times for Circle. Having very quickly established ourselves as one of the North West's major players over the past eight years, we are expanding further and our goals continue to be achieved faster than planned despite the economy. We are continuing to recruit throughout the current economic downturn, however for the time being, not for Account Managers or Account Handlers (we now only have vacancies for IT Recruitment Consultants).

We have a team of individuals that are enjoying recruitment again, which invariably in turn leads to better performance. It also makes a massive difference to their personal lives, which should always come first. We are open, honest and fair, and our success is reflecting the fact that we have the right policies. As such, we are surprised that we are so unique in this respect. Perhaps old habits die hard.

Why not see what we are offering? If you have read this far, you owe it to yourself.
